The Police and Border Guard Board (PPA) will close the Narva border crossing from April 30 to May 2 for training. The PPA’s East Prefecture and the Estonian Defence League will conduct Exercise ‘Kilp’, and the crossing will be closed temporarily. It reopens May 3. East Prefecture’s Border Guard Bureau head Eerik Purgel said training activities are at the crossing. Travellers are asked to take into account that Narva crossing will be unavailable. Alternative crossings at Koidula and Luhamaa will be open for cars to cross. Exercise Kilp, April 28 to May 2 will practice migration pressure and national defence crisis resolution.
