Iverson Ng

Iverson Ng is an early career researcher at Tallinn University’s School of Humanities, focusing on the judicial border between Hong Kong and mainland China following the implementation of the 2020 Hong Kong National Security Law. Before his research on Hong Kong, he was interested in the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy, Russian foreign policy and the construction of Ukrainian identity.

He holds a Master’s degree in EU-Russia studies from Tartu University and a bachelor’s degree in international journalism from Hong Kong Baptist University. His previous publications were related to EU elite discourses on public health and Ukrainian journalists’ perceptions of the EU.
